NASA Office of Education Announces New Cooperative Agreement Opportunity - May 22 deadline

The NASA Office of Education invites proposals for advancing the research capacity and infrastructure at Minority Serving Institutions in NASA-related areas. This effort will lead to the establishment of multi-disciplinary scientific, engineering, and/or commercial research centers at the host universities.

U.S. colleges and universities designated and listed as Postsecondary Minority Institutions by the Department of Education are encouraged to apply. In addition, applying institutions must offer graduate degrees in engineering, mathematics or science disciplines.

Proposals must be submitted electronically via the NASA proposal data system NSPIRES or via Grants.gov. 

Electronically submitted Notices of Intent to propose are mandatory and are due May 22, 2008. Full proposals are due June 30, 2008.

Proposals from entities outside the U.S. will not be considered. If you have any questions about this opportunity, please direct your questions to the Point of Contact listed within the solicitation.
